Syleham House, Suffolk

Set within a beautiful Georgian house on the banks of the River Waveney, this kitchen brings together natural materials, traditional craftsmanship and a sense of calm simplicity. The room, once a drawing room, now forms a wonderfully light and spacious kitchen with views across the river and original pine flooring underfoot.

The cabinetry is handmade from birch ply with solid beech frames and doors, finished in Farrow & Ball’s rich green Bancha. Drawer boxes are crafted from locally sourced brown ash, and the central prep table is made from sandblasted English oak, stained to bring out its natural texture and warmth.

A timeless, understated design that sits beautifully within its Georgian setting — practical, durable and built to last.
