School House, Hampshire
For this Hampshire home, the brief was to create a traditional handmade kitchen that retained every modern comfort. We worked closely with the clients to rethink the layout, moving the kitchen to another part of the house to make better use of the generous space and natural light.
The design combines classic proportions with practical detailing — sixteen dovetailed drawers, a large island, and fully integrated appliances including dishwasher, bin, fridge-freezer and Quooker boiling-water tap. A beautiful dresser and a bespoke concertina larder complete the scheme.
The island, deliberately generous in scale, bridges the space between the kitchen and the open-plan dining area — a sociable, light-filled room where the family can cook, eat and spend time together for years to come.
