Old Thatch, Suffolk

Old Thatch is a delightful thatched cottage lovingly restored by its owners. With a deep respect for tradition, the renovation called for craftsmanship that could complement the building’s age and charm, embracing every wonky wall and rustic detail.

We designed and built a bespoke handmade country-style kitchen to harmonise with the 500-year-old fabric of the house. Painted in Farrow & Ball’s Stiffkey Blue and Charlotte’s Locks, the kitchen combines vibrant colour with timeless design and practical storage. The result is a warm, characterful space that honours the home’s heritage while offering all the usability of a modern kitchen.
